RigNotes is a field record-keeping platform that helps agricultural teams log pesticide applications, fertilizer applications, field operations, and related activities via mobile SMS messaging and a web dashboard. It is a logging and workflow tool — it does not constitute legal compliance software and does not guarantee regulatory compliance with WSDA, EPA, or any other agency.
RigNotes is not a substitute for legal or regulatory advice. Use of this platform does not ensure compliance with Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA), EPA, or any other regulatory requirements.
RigNotes is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including data loss, regulatory fines, or business interruption.
RigNotes uses SMS text messaging to enable field workers to submit records and receive confirmations. By enrolling a mobile phone number in RigNotes — either as a farm manager or as a worker enrolled by an administrator — you consent to receive transactional SMS messages for the purpose of logging and confirming field activity.
Types of messages: Field activity confirmations, opt-in/opt-out confirmations, and support responses.
Message frequency: Varies based on field activity. You may receive multiple messages per day during active field operations.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any RigNotes message at any time. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
To re-enroll: Reply START to resume messages after opting out.

Data sharing: RigNotes does not share, sell, rent, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent to any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
RigNotes relies on third-party messaging and infrastructure services to deliver its functionality. We are not responsible for outages, delays, message failures, or data loss caused by third-party providers. Use of RigNotes is subject to the terms and policies of those third-party services.
Users agree to indemnify and hold RigNotes, its owners, and its representatives harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or costs — including legal fees — arising from their use of the platform, misuse of the service, or violation of these Terms.
Users may request deletion of their RigNotes account and associated data at any time by contacting hello@rignotes.com. Prior to deletion, users will be offered the option to export their records. Once an account is deleted, RigNotes does not guarantee recovery of any data. Users are responsible for maintaining their own records as required by applicable regulations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington State. Any disputes arising from use of RigNotes shall be resolved in King County, Washington.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to RigNotes for violation of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
